About our Community

The purpose of this website is to keep interested residents up to date on the happenings in our community, as well as a convenient resource for answers concerning community rules and contacting board members.

Vantage Hill is a wonderful, family oriented condominium community tucked away in a wooded enclave,centrally located in Reston. Sited on over 15 acres it includes 152 units in 24 buildings, a private pool, a tot lot, and shady gazebos in the common areas. It was originally built as an apartment complex in 1966, and converted to condominiums in 1984. Because of its unique location, residents consider it the best kept secret in Reston.

Vantage Hill is managed by a Board of Directors who meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. The board is made up of 9 members and a quorum is required to transact community business. To maintain continuity, most board members serve for a term of 3 years and are elected on a staggered schedule at the Annual Meeting each September. The community is governed by the usual condominium covenants and restrictions, a copy of which each unit owner receives when they purchase their unit. Vantage Hill is also governed by the covenants and restrictions of the Reston Association. Renters should ask their landlords for a copy of these documents.

Professional management is provided by Armstrong Management Services Inc., under the direction of Ed Maltese, who is available at all board meetings. Armstrong oversees all association contracts, covenant compliance, the annual budget, day to day billing, and follows the directions of the board.
